Pumpkin has a naturally creamy texture that makes it an excellent ingredient for blended drinks. Once cooked until tender, it creates a smooth base that pairs beautifully with warm spices and rich milk, giving this punch both body and depth without becoming heavy.
Sea moss has become a popular addition to homemade beverages because it blends almost invisibly while contributing to an incredibly silky consistency. Rather than dominating the flavor, it allows the pumpkin, vanilla, nutmeg, and cloves to remain the stars of the drink.
A few drops of Angostura bitters add a subtle layer of spice that ties everything together. It’s a small addition, but one that gives the finished punch a little more complexity and rounds out the sweetness from the condensed milk.
The result is a thick, velvety drink that can easily be adjusted to suit your preference. Add a little more evaporated milk for a lighter consistency or a little extra condensed milk if you’d like a sweeter finish.

Pumpkin Sea Moss Punch
Description
This pumpkin sea moss punch combines cooked pumpkin with creamy milk, sea moss gel, and aromatic spices to create a thick, satisfying drink. The pumpkin adds natural body and subtle sweetness, while the sea moss blends seamlessly into a silky, smooth texture.
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Place the diced pumpkin and 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the pumpkin is completely tender and easily pierced with a fork. Remove from the heat and allow it to cool slightly. Do not discard the cooking liquid.
-
Transfer the cooked pumpkin along with all of its cooking liquid to a blender. Add the condensed milk, evaporated milk, sea moss gel, vanilla, nutmeg, ground cloves, and Angostura bitters.
-
Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes, or until the mixture is completely smooth, creamy, and velvety with no visible pieces of pumpkin remaining.
-
Taste and adjust as needed. For a sweeter punch, blend in additional condensed milk. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more evaporated milk a little at a time until it reaches your desired thickness.
-
Serve immediately over ice, or refrigerate for several hours before serving for an even colder, thicker punch. Stir well before pouring if it has been chilled.
Note
Allow the pumpkin to cool slightly before blending to prevent excess steam from building up in the blender.
The punch naturally thickens as it chills. Stir well before serving and thin with additional evaporated milk if needed.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
For the smoothest texture, blend for a full 1–2 minutes.
