Homemade blueberry sauce, with rich flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg and sweetened with warm and rich date syrup.

There’s something about a homemade blueberry sauce that I absolutely love. It can add such a depth of flavor to so many breakfast items or desserts, and I have actually been using it in my brunch boxes for quite some time now. Recently, having crafted my very own Date Sweetener recipe, I was eager to try it to sweeten a few of my favorites, mainly for breakfast items, and felt like it would marry well with my blueberry sauce recipe. The sweetness of fresh or frozen blueberries harmonizes with the warm essence of cinnamon date syrup and a touch of nutmeg. This versatile sauce was then thickened to perfection with a cornstarch slurry, and the end result did not disappoint. Whether you choose to enjoy this sauce drizzled over pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, or ice cream, this blueberry sauce offers a delightful burst of fruity goodness in every bite. Get ready to infuse your creations with homemade charm and irresistible flavor with this simple yet enchanting recipe.
